Season of Love: Volunteers of Crittenton Centers

2/21/2020 12:00 AM

Even though Valentine’s Day is over, Crittenton Centers isn’t done spreading the love this February! This week we want to share our love to our amazing volunteers. Our volunteers find themselves giving a helping hand at both our Crisis Nursery and Child Development Center to children from all different ages and backgrounds. This could mean rocking a baby to sleep, telling a magical story to kids to fuel their imaginations, helping with homework, alongside so many other tasks to help teachers and kids.

This also includes helping out with special events like the holiday-tastic Festival of Trees which has fabulous decorations, hot chocolate, and overall winter fun, Kids Day a day devoted to making kids feel like they rule the world and field trips to different locations that will be enlightening for both adults and kids! With so much to do this makes every experience of volunteering, new and exciting for those looking to enhance their days, while also giving back to the community. We call that a win-win situation.

Like working with children and looking for something to do with your free time? Volunteer at Crittenton to make a difference and have a great time while doing it! Find more information on how to become a volunteer here! We are so grateful for your time and help!

That’s not the only way to give back to the community, Crittenton Centers is always thankful for any contributions and donations to the center. You can make a difference by donating here!
